This is a public celebration of a union between two people who are formally declaring their love for one another.
The couple choose the words, poetry, verses that they may want included in the ceremony. In many ways this is like a wedding ceremony but is not legal under the Marriage Act of 1961.
This ceremony may be performed between same sex couples or couples of the opposite sex who choose not to marry legally.
This is an opportunity to celebrate love and devotion between two people in the presence of family and friends.
