Couples often decide to renew their vows for a number of different reasons:

• A couple may have been married overseas or interstate away from family and friends.
• A couple may have been through a particularly difficult time, a renewal of vows can be a new start to the relationship.
• A couple may wish to declare their continuing love for each other, perhaps on a wedding anniversary.
• A couple may feel that their original wedding ceremony did not have the same meaning for their lives as they feel now.
